Pay-When-Paid

Timing: DCRI will pay the undisputed portion of each approved invoice within ten (10) business days after receiving payment from the Client for that work.

Contingency: Payment is expressly contingent upon DCRI fi rst receiving payment from the Client. If the Client does not pay for the Work, DCRI has no obligation to pay the Subcontractor for that portion.


1. Disputed Amounts

If any part of an invoice is disputed, DCRI will notify the Subcontractor in writing within seven (7) business days. Only the disputed amount will be withheld; all undisputed amounts will be processed as scheduled.

3. Payment Method

Payments are made by ACH (preferred) or by paper check, according to the completed Payment Preference Form. Paper checks will be mailed to the Subcontractor’s address on file.

As part of DCRI’s commitment to maintaining a safe, compliant, and professional work environment, all subcontractors must abide by the following:


Competent Person

A qualified individual must oversee safety compliance on site and be authorized to identify and correct hazard.


1. Safety & Health Practices

Subcontractors must comply with OSHA regulations and DCRI’s site-specific safety requirements. Each subcontractor is responsible for training their employees and may be asked to provide documentation if required by the client.


2. PPE Requirements

Hard hats, high-visibility apparel, safety glasses, work boots, and gloves (or other job-specific PPE) must be worn at all times. Failure to comply may result in removal from the site.


3. Job site Rules

– All subcontractors must comply with OSHA standards and DCRI jobsite policies.
– Subcontractors are responsible for their employees’ safety and conduct.
– Hazards must be reported and corrected immediately.


4. Equipment & Certifications

Only trained and authorized personnel may operate heavy equipment. If crane work is involved, provide:

– Current crane inspection/certification
– Certified operator documentation
– Qualified signal and rigger credentials
– Scaffolding must be inspected and tagged daily by a competent person.


5. Insurance & Site Conduct

– Maintain active General Liability and Workers’ Compensation coverage; proof required before starting work.
– Absolutely NO SMOKING on or near any structure under construction. Use designated smoking areas only — away from tools, materials, and active zones.
– No unauthorized visitors or clients in work zones.
– Professional, respectful behavior is expected at all times.

6. Incident Reporting

Any injury, near-miss, or property damage must be reported to DCRI management immediately, and no later than the end of the day.


7. Disciplinary Action

Non-compliance may result in temporary jobsite removal or review of future work eligibility.
